Rotate both pairs of suit pants from the start. Our Washable 2-Pant Flex Suit includes one jacket and two matching pairs of pants, so he can give one pair a break without packing another jacket for it. Choose the suit colors and quantities from his mission's current list.

Why does a missionary suit come with two pairs of pants?
The extra pair lets him alternate pants while one pair is being cleaned or resting between wears. Put both pairs into the regular rotation instead of leaving the second pair untouched until the first wears out.
The navy Washable 2-Pant Flex Suit is a rayon, nylon, and spandex blend. Both its jacket and pants are washable, a useful option if dry cleaning will be hard to find during the mission. Follow the current care instructions for the particular suit.
Hang it up, and learn a small repair
After wearing them, hang the shirt, jacket, and pants rather than leaving them on a chair or the floor. Making that part of the daily routine helps keep clothing care from taking over P-day.
Pack a small sewing kit and practice replacing a loose button or repairing a small popped seam before departure. Those are maintenance jobs a missionary can learn to handle without arranging a replacement. Our button-sewing tutorial walks through the steps. Sewing is a useful skill long after the mission, too.
Black Flex suit: one jacket, two pairs of pants
The black Washable 2-Pant Flex Suit is $299.99 for one suit, including its jacket and two matching pairs of pants. Add two qualifying Washable 2-Pant Flex Suits through the product pages for a package total of $499.98, or $249.99 per suit. Two complete suits include two jackets and four pairs of pants. Prices are before applicable tax and shipping.
The Flex fabric contains 45% rayon, 50% nylon, and 5% spandex for stretch as he moves. Both the jacket and pants are washable; use the suit's current care instructions rather than treating every item in the wardrobe as one laundry load.
Eligible wear-through on this men's suit may be repaired or replaced under our 2-Year Wearproof Guarantee during the original full-time missionary's service. Customers pay shipping, and the full terms explain eligibility, exclusions, and how to submit a request. Routine maintenance, including buttons and simple seam repairs, remains the missionary's responsibility.
Check the suit measurements before ordering
The pants come unhemmed, and the listed pant waist is six inches smaller than the suit size. A size 38 suit, for example, comes with 32-inch pants. Use the measurement tutorial on the product page and allow time for hemming.
Try on the whole outfit with the shoes you plan to wear. Fit both pairs of pants before departure so each is ready for the rotation. If the jacket size and the pant size don't line up for your proportions, ask our team before you buy.
For Sisters: a skirt that works with several tops
The Roxcy Skirt is $34.80 each before applicable tax and shipping. It has a flowing polyester cut and elastic at the back of the waistband. Try it with tops she already plans to take so each skirt can work in several outfits.
Check the length and movement on her, with the shoes she will wear. Mission instructions and the fit of the finished outfit matter more than the size printed on the tag. Sister fashion items are not covered by the men's two-year wear guarantee; contact our team about a manufacturing defect.
Another outfit option: a dress with usable pockets
The Camilla Dress has a relaxed, flowing cut, a lining, and pockets you can use. Try sitting and walking in it with any layers you plan to add, then check that the finished outfit meets your mission's current instructions.
The care instructions call for a cold hand wash or a delicate cold cycle, then hanging to dry. Leave room in the laundry routine for that drying time.
Put the pieces to work together
Pick a small set of shoes and layers that work across several outfits. Before buying a package, compare what's in it against the actual packing list. For sizing, suit options, or help planning the rotation, contact our team.
A thought for missionary preparation
“My dear brothers and sisters, we would do well to slow down a little, proceed at the optimum speed for our circumstances, focus on the significant, lift up our eyes, and truly see the things that matter most.”
