2-YEAR GUARANTEE

What is it? This guarantee is a service and benefit designed to help the full-time missionary who originally purchased the items from our store so that they do not have to re-purchase missionary clothing in the mission field. This guarantee is specifically for the repair or replacement of items that have been damaged, which means that there must be a hole worn in the fabric, leather, sole, sock, etc. This does not cover damaged items due to “ELDER ERROR” (i.e. staining, laundry mishaps, theft, and ritual/intentional damage). However, you are welcome to submit any requests for replacements and situational circumstances may be considered.

Replacements will not be given after the missionary has returned home from their mission, guarantee may not be transferred to another missionary. Our fashion-grade items and Clearance/Sale items are not covered under the 2-year guarantee.

All 2-Year Guarantee items will be repaired/replaced depending on the following requirements:

Repairs

In many cases, items can be repaired and we will cover the cost of the repair. Missionaries are responsible for maintenance of all products and simpler repairs such as popped seams, buttons, following care labels, etc.

Full Replacement (only covers items that have worn out)

Item must have a hole in it from wear incurred from Missionary Service.  Original sizes only.  If sizing has changed, we can replace the items under the 50% Guarantee.

50% Guarantee

Anything we sell that doesn't meet the requirements above can be replaced at half off for current missionaries. Examples include stained collars, laundry mishaps, theft, apartment fires, floods, sweat stains, etc.  

How does it work? It’s pretty easy! Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page to submit a request to our customer service team.  Submissions are addressed within 24-48 hours. We can ship replacement items within the United States! Replacements sent to missionaries serving in the US will be sent to their mission office. This decreases the chance for theft and abandoned packages. 

We do NOT ship Internationally. Why? We don’t ship directly to missionaries outside of the United States since the shipping costs are substantial not only to us but to the missionary as the missionary is responsible for paying duties and customs. For missionaries serving outside of the United States, we can ship items to a home address in the US, which can then be forwarded to the missionary at the expense of the customer.  This usually ends up being less expensive, especially if the clothing or items are removed from retail packaging and washed and can therefore be legitimately shipped to the missionary as "used clothing" on the customs declaration.

Can I get items replaced right before I come home so I have a closet full of new clothes?  No!  This replacement is for the benefit of missionaries to use while still serving in the field so they can focus on the work. Replacements will not be given after the missionary has returned home from their mission. Please be honest. Clothing replacement is not meant to outfit younger friends or siblings or provide a new wardrobe a few months before the end of mission service. 

What about popped seams or buttons that fall off?  We expect missionaries to know how to sew on a button or be able to repair a popped seam.  For hemming and other seam issues, items can be taken to a local tailor or dry cleaner and the receipt may be submitted for reimbursement. Shoe Coverage—The Two Pair Rule To have your shoes covered by the 2-Year Wearproof Guarantee, you must purchase two pairs of Robbins & Brooks shoes from us. (Sandals and boots are not included.)  Why? Robbins & Brooks shoes are our number one selling brand of mission shoes. We have designed them to be the most durable & comfortable throughout a missionary's two years. We suggest that missionaries take 2-3 pairs of shoes, and your Mission President does too! Taking just one pair of shoes will not last for any missionary and will likely cause significant foot problems. Shoes must be rotated daily! Giving the shoes a day off between wearing gives the sole a day to rebound before being worn again. This provides more durability and a softer cushion to the feet, legs, and back. It also allows the shoe to dry, which prevents foot health problems and helps the leather last longer. When you submit a request for a guarantee, we will ask for photos of both pairs to ensure they have been rotated.

How Long Does It Take?
Replacement or repaired items usually ship in 1-2 weeks. If we no longer sell the item or a particular style has been discontinued by the manufacturer, a similar style of equal or greater value will be selected in its place. If an item is sold out or is on backorder for longer than 6 business days, you will be contacted to see if you’d like to wait for the original item or select another style.

Our product line has been refined by this guarantee. If we see that something does not last, we stop selling it! Everything you buy from MissionaryMall has been tested by real missionaries. If it fails, we get it back and fix the product or find another supplier for future missionaries. We don’t just offer theories on what we think will last—we put our money where our mouth is. We are on the line for items that don’t last.

WHY IS THERE NO SISTER MISSIONARY MALL GUARANTEE?

We haven't quite figured out how to guarantee products for Sister Missionaries since fashions change every 4 months on average.  By the time something might wear out for a sister missionary, the fashion has changed a few times and we no longer carry the item in the same cut, color/print, length, etc.  The good news is that the men's guarantee teaches us how to construct the clothing (fabrics, stitching, etc) we sell at Sister MissionaryMall so most items are Mission Grade as well. 

We do cover manufacturing defects on all of the items at Sister MissionaryMall, so if you have a defective product, please contact us and we'll get that replaced!
