MissionaryMall SMS/MMS Privacy Addendum
Effective October 8, 2026. Purity International, Inc, doing business as MissionaryMall, operates these SMS/MMS programs. This addendum applies to messages, attachments, contact details and consent records collected through the programs. It supplements our website privacy policy, including for information collected outside the website through SMS/MMS. For mobile information and SMS consent, this addendum controls over any inconsistent general privacy language.
Information and use
We use your mobile number, selected program, consent status, message content and attachments you choose to send to provide the program you selected, respond to requests, deliver authorized updates, maintain consent and opt-out records, and protect the service from misuse. Email collected on the enrollment form is used to process your request, not to subscribe you to marketing email. Different programs have separate enrollment and access rules.
Mobile information and consent
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information, SMS opt-in data or consent status with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers only as needed to operate and deliver the messaging service, such as messaging platforms, phone carriers and approved processors acting on our behalf. Your consent to an SMS program will not be transferred to another organization or used to enroll you in a different messaging program.
AI-assisted handling and security
Some messages and attachments may be handled by automated assistants. Access is limited to the program and role authorized for the conversation. Staff enrollment does not grant access to payroll, legal or financial information. SMS/MMS is not end-to-end encrypted. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, Social Security numbers or private payroll/banking documents through these programs. Use an approved secure channel for sensitive records.
Retention and requests
We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain consent and opt-out records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Enrollment requests and consent records are received through Shopify's contact service and retained in our business email records. Contact jon@missionarymall.org with privacy questions or access/deletion requests. Reply STOP to stop texts from the program, or email us if texting is unavailable. Opting out does not automatically delete records we are required or permitted to retain.
