Were you just called to the Texas Lubbock Mission? We’ve put together some practical advice on clothing, shoes, accessories, and more for your mission!
Choose loose-fitting cotton clothing and breathable materials. Here are some pieces that will last for your whole mission!

Think about what you’ll be comfortable wearing in hot, humid weather. Choose thin cotton clothing and breathable materials.
Now for shoes!
Most returned missionaries who served in Lubbock suggested Danskos for sisters!
Our suggestions for shoes: Dansko Deena, Dansko Fawna, Dansko Rowan, Dansko Leeza, and the Dansko Rissa (pictured below).
The right shoes will differ from person to person. Come into our store to try different pairs and find your Cinderella slipper!
Now for accessories!

Choosing a bag can be stressful when there are so many options. We’ve narrowed it down to 2 options for you.
The Willesden B Bag and the Sojourn Convertible Messenger Bag are the 2 we recommend!
Bring a water bottle. You’ll be outside a lot, and it’s important to avoid dehydration. Not drinking water can be dangerous.
At the moment we don’t sell water bottles at Sister MissionaryMall, but here are some favorites from our staff of RMs.
Hydroflasks come in a range of colors and styles. Their insulation keeps your water cold all day long, so you can choose one you love.
Another option is Owala. These stylish, practical bottles come in plenty of colors and keep your water cold all day. Choose one that suits your style and needs.
