How Does My Missionary Stay Healthy in the Field?

Today's missionary preparation question!

Q: "How does my missionary stay healthy on a mission?"

A mission is physically and emotionally demanding — a few habits keep them going strong:

Move and rest. Daily exercise (even the quick routines missionaries share) plus consistent sleep make a huge difference in energy and mood.

Eat reasonably. Simple, balanced meals; a multivitamin and probiotic help when diets change abroad. A small blender or a few one-pot recipes make healthy eating easier.

Protect the feet. Good shoes — rotated and conditioned — plus quality socks prevent the blisters and foot problems that sideline missionaries.

Mind and spirit. Learn healthy ways to handle stress before the mission. Rejection and hard days come, and emotional resilience matters as much as physical health.

Tip: A water bottle and sunscreen are small things that prevent big problems.

Missionary Thought of the Day

"To raise our families and serve faithfully in the Church, all without running faster than we have strength, require wisdom, judgment, divine help—and inevitably some sacrifice."
