It's no secret that 2020 has been quite possibly the craziest year that any of us have ever experienced. There have been earthquakes, hurricanes, wildfires, a worldwide pandemic and so much more! However, the light that Christmas time brings to this world is much needed. 

When I think of Christmas, I think of happiness, joy, love and kindness. I think of peace, light, family, and warmth. These are the exact feelings that we can feel as we grow closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It's no wonder that all of these feelings can be felt as we celebrate the time that Christ was born in a stable many years ago- bringing hope, peace, and love to this Earth. His life was extraordinary as he performed miracles, served and loved others unconditionally, and taught us the principles we need to live happy and healthy lives while here on Earth.

We learn from the teachings of our Savior that we must love one another, obey the commandments, pray always and continuously seek the Kingdom of Heaven. Most of all, we learn that we must love God above all else. How do we do that? We follow His son. We seek to do good. And we submit to the will of our Heavenly Father.

May we all learn to rely on our loving Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Let us look for the happiness and hope amidst all of the troubles we may face.
