Sister Missionary Underpinnings & Hosiery

Q: "What 'underpinnings' does a sister missionary actually need?"

The pieces nobody thinks about until they're missing — and they're hard to find in the field:

Layering tees & camis. A few basic layering tees (and a half-tee for warm climates) make modest tops work and add comfort under everything.

Slips. A good slip — including a split slip for biking missions — keeps skirts and dresses hanging right.

Shapewear & leggings. Optional, but many sisters want them — decide what you like and bring enough.

Hosiery. Enough tights, pantyhose, knee-highs, and footies to rotate daily; climate and preference decide the mix.

Tip: Pack these to last the whole mission — they're rarely available in your size abroad.
