Picking Up Your Missionary (Who Has No Phone)

Get the flight details early. The mission office sends an itinerary — confirm arrival airport, terminal, and time, and keep an eye out for delays.

Plan the meet-up spot. Since your missionary won't have a working phone, agree in advance (through the mission office) on exactly where to meet — usually baggage claim or the arrivals area.

Build in buffer. International connections and customs take time. Arrive early and be patient if the schedule slips.

Bring the welcome. Signs, family, a big hug — and maybe a fresh change of clothes for the ride home.
