A tip that I have learned for studying is color coordinating your scriptures. This was very important for me when it came to teaching people. I was then able to find a scripture verse based on exactly what they needed. Whenever I studied I would categorize things such as prayer, fasting, family, baptism, and so on. I would color and mark them with a tab then do mock scenarios to help me to be able to turn to them quickly.

This helped me memorize and understand those scriptures better so when it came to teaching someone, I would remember where to find the scriptures that they needed. Helping me to turn to it quickly without losing the Holy Ghost and losing the spirit that was present in the room. Color coordinating my scriptures has helped me so much and I hope can help you too!
